The Vocelli Pizza Chains

Share

Vocelli Pizza is formerly known as Pizza Outlet. Its headquarters are in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. And at present, it is regarded as one of the fastest growing pizzerias in the United States. It even reached USD$55 million annual sales in 2006. This pizza chain used to be a simple local pizzeria in the late 1980’s. A man named Harry Ablak, together with his sons, founded it. And they claimed to use the best quality ingredients for their products. They even use olive oil for the pizza dough. Then, after expanding fast in its place of origin, it entered the south. But unfortunately, it did not become successful. However, instead of backing out and focusing solely in Pittsburgh, the pizza chain changed its name. So, in 2002, it had adopted an Italian theme and was called Vocelli Pizza. Prior to this change, it did not have any particular theme. And its name, Pizza Outlet, sounded very ordinary.

Surprisingly, even though the pizza chain did not change its products, its sales escalated after the huge change. And so, it has received a lot of awards and recognitions for its truly satisfying products and customer service. Its menu is packed with numerous of choices of appetizers, pizzas, salads, strombolis, desserts, and subs. Customers may order for take-out or for delivery. The pizza chain does not offer online ordering though. But that is okay since it has a really good customer service. And as for its delivery service, twenty-five minutes is the usual time frame. It also gets to almost every neighborhood, and its pizzas always arrive hot.

But it also offers lemonade and iced tea. There is no beer, however. Then, its appetizers include bread sticks, pepperoni sticks, Buffalo wings, and brushetta. And the pizzas are available in pan, thin crust, and traditional hand tossed styles. Customers may also choose from toppings of pepperoni, ground beef, sausage, bacon, ham, salami, chicken, steak, onions, green bell peppers, jalapenos, olives, spinach, mushrooms, anchovies, tomatoes, red bell peppers, broccoli, and pineapple. But picky eaters and cheese lovers may choose to have extra cheese or gourmet pizzas, as well. Furthermore, the olive oil in the pizza dough provides a unique taste. And the pizza sauce is just right.

As for its salads, Regular House, Chicken Caesar, Antipasta, Mediterranean Salad, and Tuscan Grilled Chicken are the choices. All are served with Italian dressings. The strombolis are golden brown with dipping sauces that taste really good. And the subs are simply mouthwatering. They are covered with Mozzarella cheese and filled with lettuces, onions, tomatoes, and mayonnaise.
