Domino’s Pizza raises $2M for Jude Children’s Research Hospital


Dominoes Pizza and it costumers raised nearly $2 million for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital throughout its 2009 Thanks and Giving Campaign, the largest charitable donation in the pizza chain’s history.

The $2 million in contributions doubled Dominoes Pizza 2008 campaign for the same hospital.

“We know it’s been a tough year, but cancer can’t wait for the economy to get better. That’s why St. Jude is so thankful we can count on Domino’s and its customers to support the lifesaving work of St. Jude through the Thanks and Giving campaign,” said Marlo Thomas, St. Jude’s national outreach director, in a statement.

Dominoes Pizza has raised and contributed $6.7 million to the Memphis hospital in just over five years.

Based in Memphis, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is a leading pediatric treatment and research facility focused on children’s catastrophic diseases. It employs about 3,300 in Memphis.
