Beyond the Pizza Dominoes Maker

Dominos pizza storeAt one time or another, all of us have been given the opportunity to go beyond ourselves and be of service to others. Too bad though, that most of us miss that chance. The people behind every aspect of pizza Dominoes serve are rare exceptions. Pizza Dominoes started to give back to the community in 2001 when they launched a partnership with the Make-a-Wish-Foundation of the United States. This two-year program was followed that same year by providing over 12,000 pizzas to volunteer rescue workers during the aftermath of the September 11 terrorist attacks. Besides the pizza Dominoes gave away, they also donated $350,000 for the relief efforts of the American Red Cross. Two years later, Dominoes was named by the magazine Pizza Today as the “Chain of the Year”. It was followed by another milestone achievement when the Pizza Dominoes is popular of worldwide became the “Official Pizza of NASCAR”. Dominoes further pursued its charity efforts and starting in 2004, through their “Thanks and Giving” campaign, the corporation was able to raise $1.3 million within two years for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. This medical institution is one of the primary centers of research and treatment of cancer among children. Whenever a research breakthrough gets completed in St. Jude’s Children’s hospital, it is being shared freely to the science community all around the world. Not only does every pizza Dominoes sell extend help to the needy, it also used their popular and vintage advertisement to bring more power to their cause. It was in the 1980’s when Dominoes released their advertisements that feature “The Noid”. This corresponded with its catch-phrase “Avoid the Noid”. Just recently, Dominoes brought back the concept to aid the company’s charity support for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. Excusive limited edition “The Noid” shirts are now for sale online. There are 1000 vintage shirts available for purchase at only $19.99. This is the perfect gift for any “The Noid” fans of the 80’s and even to the modern day pizza lovers of Dominoes. Indeed, the 49 year old leader in the pizza industry is still cutting-edge cool.
